Nagoya University Rugby Football Club Support Fund

Nagoya University Rugby Football Club is comprised of approximately 60 members, including students and coaches, who are dedicated to daily training and continuous improvement. We compete in the Tokai University Rugby League, currently within the B League, which consists of eight teams. In recent years, we have consistently ranked among the top teams—finishing 3rd in 2022, winning the championship in 2023, and again placing 3rd in 2024. With a clear goal of promotion to the A League, our players and support staff work closely together to enhance our competitive strength. However, maintaining and advancing our activities requires substantial financial resources. These include registration fees, travel expenses for matches, and essential supplies and equipment necessary to ensure a safe and effective training environment. So far, we have managed these costs through the support of our alumni association and club member fees, but these measures have reached their limit. In 2024, we also began a new challenge by participating in the International University Rugby Sevens Tournament, typically held in Taiwan. This overseas competition demands significant additional funding, and the financial burden is becoming a serious issue for the sustainable operation of our club. To address these challenges, we have established a dedicated fund and are now seeking support from a broader community. Your contributions will directly help our student athletes continue to pursue rugby in a safe environment and take on new opportunities at higher levels of competition.
