Fundraising Goals of the Nagoya University Foundation
■Current Status of the Nagoya University Foundation
From the time of its establishment in 2006 through to fiscal year 2018, the Foundation’s balance has reached approximately 16 billion yen. While the balance is increasing from year to year thanks to the cooperation of our donors, it has not yet reached our target amount. The realization of our vision to contribute to Japan's future depends first upon requesting further support from the businesses and individuals of our community.
■Fundraising Goals of the Nagoya University Foundation
The Nagoya University Foundation is carrying out fund-raising activities toward our targets of 20 billion yen for 2021, the 150th anniversary of our University's initial founding. There is a pressing need to increase revenue from donations, which are highly discretionary in nature, in order to ensure that Nagoya University can grow as a top university amid intensifying competition among universities worldwide.
